DAILY DOUBLE: To choose the champions of the first 2 matches of the day.

DOWN BET: To wager that the result of an action will be smaller than the smallest end of the quote on a spread bet, also known as a "sell".

DOZEN BET: In roulette, to bet on any of three groups of 12 numbers, one-twelve, etc.

EACH WAY BET: A athletics bet, which means to wager on a team or player to win or position in a game.

EVEN MONEY BET: A bet that pays the same number as wagered, ( 1-1 ).

EXACTA: laying odds that 2 horses in a match will finish in the exact same assignment as the bet – also referred to as a " Perfecta ".
